Snorkeling is the top activity in St Thomas. Most people come to swim with the sea turtles. You can snorkel on your own, with a guide, on a kayak trip, or on a boat-snorkel tour.

Coral World

Coral World: 

Coral World is an indoor-outdoor aquarium with small sharks, stingrays and starfish. It also has a walk-through aviary and an offshore underwater observatory to view 15 feet below the water’s surface.

Boat Charters

Private Boat Charters: 

Private charters are a must when you visit St Thomas. You can snorkel, island hop, and visit different beaches. You can rent a small boat all the way up to a yacht, to accommodate different parties.

Off-Road Jeep Tour

Off-Road Jeep Tours:

Island Buddy Tours is the go-to place for off-road jeep tours. A full day is $400/jeep and a half day is $250/jeep. Each jeep holds 4 people. A full day is 5-7 hours and they will pick you up at Tropical Palm Villa.

Horseback on Beach

Horseback on Beach:

Golden Age Ranch is a great place to do horseback on the beach. The tour goes along Lindquist Beach, which has stunning views. Rides are about 2 hours, four people max per ride.

Eco Tours

Eco Tours:

Explore St Thomas through nature! Kayaking, hiking, and snorkeling are amongst the favorites. You can also go birding and explore the marine life. A popular spot is the Mangrove Lagoon.

Charlotte Amalie Overlook

Charlotte Amalie:

Ride a cable-car up 800-foot to Paradise Point. There are excellent views of Charlotte Amalie downtown and the harbor. Once you arrive at the summit restaurant, grab a frozen drink!

Magens Bay

Magens Bay:

Magens Bay is by far St Thomas’ most popular beach and includes an entry fee. The water is very calm, perfect for swimming. However, this is not a good beach for snorkeling.

Island Hopping

Cruz Bay:

There is no airport on St John, so taking the ferry is the only method of transport from St Thomas to St John. This is a must during your fabulous stay at Tropical Palm Villa!
